Become a Donor

JCCF connects people who want to give with nonprofit organizations that give back to our community, making charitable giving easier than ever.

You can give to an established fund or start your own, make gifts in your name or anonymously. Whatever your choice, by investing in JCCF you make a tangible difference close to home.

Becoming a donor benefits the community:

  • JCCF supports the community projects you care about through its Community Endowment and various funds
  • JCCF is a unbiased, impartial change agent, facilitating collaborative projects within and for the benefit of our community
  • JCCF educates community members about philanthropy and ways to give

Becoming a donor benefits local nonprofits:

  • JCCF connects donors with organizations that need support.
  • The Jefferson County Nonprofit Alliance, the Foundation’s educational arm, provides assistance to nonprofits in infrastructure and capacity building.
  • Giving to JCCF increases the overall “giving pie,” ultimately making more funding available for local nonprofits.

Becoming a donor benefits you:

  • Manifest your passion for your community by funding the projects you care about.
  • Establish a donor advised fund and recommend grants to your favorite causes, on your timeline.
  • Receive the maximum allowable tax deductions for your contributions.
  • Realize savings on capital gains.
  • Leave a legacy for future generations.

What are the ways to give?

Anyone can make a gift of any size — to an existing fund, a new fund that you establish, or by leaving a legacy after you’re gone. Contributions can be cash, real estate, closely held stock, bequests made in your will, and other items of value. Every gift, large or small, improves our community, and JCCF is here to assist you.
