DESIGNATED FUNDS

These funds allow donors to support a specific community need, provide support to one or more local nonprofits, or create a new program to support a local cause.

Donors with strong ties to a particular organization may want to establish a Designated Fund. The donor “designates” a charitable organization that the fund will support (for example, the food bank) during and after his or her lifetime.

JCCF actively monitors all grantees. If the beneficiary organization ceases to exist, the gift is redirected to support an organization with a similar mission.
